Welcome To The Moving Day Workshop
Limited to Deans of the Cabinet
and/or District Superintendents
To say pastoral transitions are easy is an understatement. Based on their experiences and research, Jim Griffith & Jim Ozier offer time-proven ‘upgrades’ that supervisors can implement.
Topics are based on studying hundreds of transitions and the issues involved. Each module will give concrete ways to ‘upgrade’ the chances of a successful pastoral transition.
The format places participants elbow to elbow with colleagues and encourages interaction-based learning.
• The role of the supervisor in the transition
• Best practices for passing the baton
• Paying attention to a church’s emotional state
• The forgotten entities involved in the transition
• Revisiting the announcement sequence
Day One: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM, 7 PM to 9 PM

Therefore, each session has set a minimum number of participants to ensure a successful learning experience. Griffith Coaching reserves the right to cancel any session that does not reach the minimum number of participants four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled start date of the session and will notify all registered participants of the cancellation at that time. We encourage participants to plan their travel accordingly as Griffith Coaching is not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses in the event a session is cancelled.
